Overview

The National Private Sector Partnership Officer will support the implementation of private sector partnership activities in the Republic of Korea, contributing to innovative technical partnerships and mobilization of funding.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support mapping and identification of private sector partners.
  • Support due diligence assessments of potential partners.
  • Support the development of options for private sector collaboration.
  • Support outreach efforts to private sector partners.
  • Collaborate with program teams to design partnership schemes.
  • Support the drafting of partnership frameworks and agreements.
  • Support the stewardship of relevant partners.
  • Support coordination between private sector partners and IOM teams.
  • Support the promotion and delivery of Migrant and Business Human Rights trainings.
  • Compile and draft reports to partners.
  • Document and share best practices.
  • Support the assessment of the feasibility of Individual Giving (IG) in the ROK.
  • Provide delivery and operational support to IG initiatives.
  • Support the development of content for the crowdfunding platform.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Private Sector Strategy in the ROK and Asia-Pacific region.
  • Support private sector engagement efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Required Experience
  • Professional experience in private sector partnership development and resource mobilization in the context of international cooperation (e.g., NGOs, international organizations, government agencies), or in CSR/sustainability-related roles in the private sector.
  • Excellent understanding of private sector priorities and experience in developing partnerships and fundraising with the private sector.
  • Experience in contributing to value proposition development and co-designing solutions in collaboration with private sector partners (companies, foundations, business associations, etc.).
  • Work experience related to public information and communication is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Management, International Relations, Marketing or related degree from an accredited academic institution; or,
  • University degree in the above fields with two years of relevant professional experience.
