Overview
The National Project Officer (Enterprise Development and Trade Readiness) will lead the implementation of cross-border trade related activities under the supervision of the Senior Programme Coordinator and Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall project implementation, including financial, administrative, and technical aspects.
- Provide operational guidance and technical supervision to project staff.
- Support monitoring and progress against strategic objectives and provide advice for improvements.
- Identify priority areas for project development and contribute to new project proposals.
- Supervise project staff, consultants, and implementing partners.
- Liaise with government entities, IPs, UN agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Draft progress reports, financial reports, and narrative reports.
- Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and steering committees.
- Undertake duty travel as required.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree with two years of relevant professional experience, or University degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in SME development, enterprise support, or trade-related programmes.
- Experience in stakeholder coordination with government institutions and private sector actors.
- Experience in donor-funded programmes or international organizations is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, Development Studies, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- University degree in the above fields.
