Overview
The Project Assistant will support project implementation through administrative, logistical, and financial tasks. The role involves preparing documents, supporting events, reviewing financial reports, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ToRs, quotations, and contracts.
- Ensure procurement files are complete and properly filed.
- Support project events logistically and submit event reports.
- Review grantee reports and flag missing documents.
- Update grant tracking tools.
- Complete meeting notes and answer stakeholder queries.
- Update filing systems.
- Submit monthly progress reports including outputs, challenges, and recommendations.
- Submit a final summary report with key achievements and recommendations.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administration, event logistics, procurement, project implementation or coordination of activities.
- Experience with international development agencies, NGOs, or UN projects is an advantage.
- Proven experience organizing field activities, trainings, workshops, or stakeholder events.
- Familiarity with procurement processes (quotations, invoices, documentation).
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (BA/BSc or equivalent) in administration, management, accounting, economics, law, or a related field is an advantage. Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a university degree.
