Overview
The IAEA is seeking a Communications Intern to assist with the planning, organization, and execution of events and communication products within the Department of Safeguards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, organization and execution of both departmental and Agency-wide events and associated communication aspects.
- Create drafts of communication products for departmental communication initiatives.
- Participate in the Department of Safeguards' Communication Working Group and act as a liaison for divisional communication representatives.
- Design content for digital communication materials within the Department of Safeguards.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the Department of Safeguards' communication products.
Required Experience
- Experience in writing and editing texts in English.
- Skills in graphic design and layout.
- Skills in survey design and analysis is an asset.
- Knowledge of technical fields of relevance to nuclear verification is an asset.
Qualifications
• University Degree in Communication, journalism, public relations, international relations or a related field.
