Overview
Internship with the Development, Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Branch (DESC) to support OHCHR's mission in protecting and realizing human rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and analyzing thematic issues linked to a human rights economy.
- Assisting with missions, meetings, seminars, and workshops, including documentation preparation and report drafting.
- Supporting collaborative work with other United Nations departments, agencies, and bodies.
- Performing other related duties as requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Graduate or enrolled in a graduate school programme (Master's degree or equivalent).
- OR Graduate or enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
- Preferably in development economics, political economy, international relations, social sciences, or a related field.
