Overview
The Information Management Intern: UX Design will assist in designing and prototyping user interfaces, conducting user research, and supporting the creation of design systems for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and prototyping user interfaces for ongoing projects.
- Conduct and assist in user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Design and refine sketches, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, UI components, and style guides.
- Collaborate with developers, data teams, and stakeholders.
- Document design processes, research insights, and usability findings.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
- Pursuing or pursued a degree in areas related to UX Design.
- Proficiency in user research methods.
- Knowledge of interaction design principles.
- Proficiency in information architecture.
- Proficiency in high- and low-fidelity prototyping and wireframing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of conducting usability evaluation.
- Demonstrated interest in working with conversational design and AI related products.
