Overview

Support the development of analytical tools and case studies to explore optimal pathways to achieving net-zero carbon emissions through a systems-cost approach. Contribute to quantitative analyses of nuclear energy's role in net-zero pathways.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in quantitative modelling of net-zero pathways
  • Support analytical insights into the cost-optimal role of nuclear energy
  • Assist with technical reporting and data visualization
  • Assistance in stakeholder management and outreach
Required Experience
  • Experience in optimisation, simulation, and economic analysis can be an asset.
  • Experience in Nuclear Energy System Assessment Methods, Nuclear Energy System Economic Analysis, or Nuclear Energy System Modelling and Analysis is an asset.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good analytical skills and familiarity with quantitative methods are essential
  • Ability to manage data using spreadsheets or other databases is essential

Languages Required
• Good written and spoken English essential
Languages Preferred
• fluency in any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish or Russian) an asset
