The Child Protection Officer will serve as the Gaza Technical Focal Point for Disability Inclusion, Gender-Based Violence, and Risk Mitigation, providing technical, operational, and administrative assistance to child protection programmes and projects.
A minimum of one year of professional experience in social development planning and management in child protection related areas is required. Experience in child protection, disability inclusion, risk mitigation, international development, international law, and the ability to facilitate effective coordination and dialogue with partners. Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
A university degree in one of the following fields is required: international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another relevant social science field.
