Overview
The Civil Engineer contributes to the design, planning, and monitoring of infrastructures, ensuring their solidity, safety, and durability, even in difficult contexts, while ensuring the quality of delivered projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Elaboration of technical plans, including analysis of existing plans, design of new structures, and coordination with other stakeholders.
- Design of new constructions based on architect's plans or project manager's requests, including technical specifications and material selection.
- Coordination with other professionals such as architects, fluid engineers, electrical engineers, and project technical team members.
- Preparation of necessary technical documentation, including calculation notes and specifications for materials and construction methods.
- Planning and supervision of works.
- Ensuring projects comply with current standards and regulations.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in structural building design.
- Experience in health sector buildings is preferred.
- Experience working within the United Nations system is an asset.
Qualifications
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any similar discipline (BAC+5 - Master's Level) is required.
