Overview
The architect is responsible for the design, rehabilitation, and monitoring of infrastructure projects, including the production of plans and technical coordination on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and produce existing plans, demolition plans, and project plans.
- Write detailed technical specifications for all aspects of the works.
- Participate in provisional and definitive technical acceptance of works.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including carpentry specifications and detail sheets.
- Plan and supervise works.
- Prepare the fire safety file in close collaboration with fluid and electrical engineers.
- Ensure project compliance with current standards and regulations.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design of buildings.
- Experience in health sector buildings is preferred.
- Experience within the United Nations system is an asset.
Qualifications
• A diploma in architecture (Master's level) is mandatory.
