Overview
The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to programmes carried out through implementing partners and grants recipient entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a filing system for the IP/GRE engagement process.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and timely financial tracking tools.
- Facilitate the creation of Purchase Orders (POs) related to IP/GRE projects.
- Perform work confirmation for projects after receipt of approved reports.
- Assist in tracking IPs’ actual expenditure against budget and cash flow projection.
- Perform detailed review and verification of IPs’/GRE’s project financial reports.
- Review procurement transactions carried out by IPs/GREs.
- Provide informal, ad hoc translation of documents from Arabic/Turkish to English.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with six years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook; previous experience in SAP is a distinct advantage;
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
High school diploma; or, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
