Overview
The ICLA Technical Assistant is responsible for supporting the implementation of NRC’s ICLA programme in Misrata and Tawergha, ensuring vulnerable individuals and communities have access to information, counselling, and legal assistance to claim their rights.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver individual and group information sessions.
- Provide individual counselling sessions on various topics.
- Provide legal assistance services to project participants.
- Undertake day-to-day data collection and data entry related to field activities.
- Participate in the drafting and regular update of service mapping.
- Conduct regular post-service monitoring exercises for ICLA services.
- Make sure that all means of verification related to awareness raising activities and legal case management are entered in the system.
Required Experience
- Experience working in humanitarian or recovery contexts.
- Experience working with displaced, returnee, or conflict-affected communities.
Qualifications
- University degree/diploma in law, or in social sciences, political science or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of data management and computer skills (MS Office, Kobo Toolbox).
