Overview
Provide advocacy and political influencing expertise to shape strategy and stakeholder engagement based on Oxfam’s Humanitarian Influencing priorities and support the development of humanitarian country teams' advocacy strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- - Develop and implement humanitarian advocacy strategies.
- - Build and work with coalitions.
- - Engage strategically with decision makers and parliamentarians.
- - Support the development of humanitarian country teams' advocacy strategies.
- - Use research data and learnings for the development of programmes and/or policy.
- - Coordinate with various actors and work on diverse activities.
Required Experience
- Considerable experience in developing and implementing humanitarian advocacy strategies.
- Experience building and working with coalitions.
- Experience engaging strategically with decision makers and parliamentarians.
- Experience working with diverse partners.
- Experience in using research data and learnings for the development of programmes and/or policy.
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Experience of working on diverse activities, sometimes towards tight deadlines.
