Overview
This role involves reviewing airline management and operations, developing recommendations for airline development, and detailing findings in a final report.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the airline's current management and operations policies and practices for both domestic and international operations.
- Develop recommendations for consideration by the airline on fares and rates, route structure, aircraft selection, investment strategies and programmes, corporate structure, co-operative and joint venture arrangements and other key factors influencing the development of the airline along internationally recognized commercial practices.
- Detail the findings and recommendations as part of the final report.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Experience
Essential Detailed knowledge of the broad field of international airline management and operations. Experience in airline flight scheduling, and in planning, composition and effective use of airline fleet. Good knowledge of characteristics and performance capabilities of various aircraft types used by airlines and their requirements for personnel and base facilities and services. Familiarity with aircraft leasing contracts.
Qualifications
University degree in business administration or public administration or other relevant discipline.
