Overview
The role involves preparing system analysis and design studies for automation needs, defining hardware and software requirements, and preparing tender documents for computerization programs and network system development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare system analysis and design studies based on automation needs and ICAO report requirements.
- Make systems design for computer programme development, including identifying required management information systems (MIS) and appropriate hardware/software.
- Incorporate CAA headquarters management, international airport terminal operations, and air traffic control activities into the network system.
- Establish a computer-controlled network system for international passenger terminal buildings.
- Establish necessary software to incorporate the flight data system at airports into the network system.
- Establish integrated software to incorporate the AIP Manual into the network system.
- Design an integrated software system including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, personnel record, CAA operations, management information, and warehousing sub-systems.
- Prepare computer and peripheral equipment requirements and specifications.
- Prepare a tender document for developing computerization programs.
- Prepare a tender document for procurement, installation, and commissioning of the network system, and for computer program development, testing, and finalization.
- Prepare a recommendation to establish a reliable computer system spare parts program.
- Prepare recommendations to establish a reliable spare parts plan for effective hardware maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- At least 5 Years experiences in maintenance of information technology systems (IT systems) in an aviation field
- Sound knowledge of computer software related to the specified tasks.
Qualifications
• University degree in computer science, or equivalent qualification.
