Overview
Lead the Forest and Climate Leaders' Partnership's (FCLP) work on Integrated Fire Management (IFM), supporting IFM co-leads and working groups to deliver the 2026 workplan across policy, partnerships, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide policy expertise and guidance to FCLP members related to IFM.
- Develop high-quality technical documents, briefings, and analysis.
- Support the development, review, and delivery of annual workplans.
- Coordinate member engagement and collaboration across the FCLP membership.
- Facilitate and enable delivery of workplan activities.
- Ensure alignment between IFM work and other FCLP functions.
- Coordinate collaboration among members, civil society, and technical partners.
- Foster and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure equitable participation and engagement across the FCLP membership.
- Coordinate FCLP participation in major events and global convenings related to IFM.
- Support FCLP members and partners in developing joint messaging, materials, and communication opportunities.
Required Experience
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in environment, policy, law, international relations, economics or related fields.
- OR Five (5) years of relevant professional experience with an advanced degree (or equivalent) preferably in environment, policy, law, international relations, economics or related field OR first degree.
- Relevant experience includes working on forests and land-use, climate change, integrated fire management.
- Demonstrated policy expertise on integrated fire management, forest and climate issues at international level.
- Excellent written communication skills and experience drafting high-level documents.
- Experience working with a range of government systems across developed and developing countries.
- Experience of managing complex projects/processes.
- Experience engaging with high-level actors, including Ministers and preferably Heads of Government.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in environment, policy, law, international relations, economics or related fields.
- OR Advanced degree (or equivalent) preferably in environment, policy, law, international relations, economics or related field OR first degree.
