Overview
The European Commission is seeking a Financial Agent to manage procurement and contract management within its Representation in Poland.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch, manage and monitor calls for proposals / tenders, evaluation and selection of projects.
- Prepare contracts.
- Ensure the follow-up of the implementation of the projects, monitor contractual obligations.
- Assistance in carrying out tasks in the frame of call for tenders and calls for proposals.
- Participation to the opening of calls for tenders and calls for proposals as well as to the evaluation committees.
- preparation and monitoring of contracts/conventions/orders.
- Encoding and follow-up of financial transactions.
- Follow-up of infrastructure, cleaning and functioning contracts as well as follow-up of purchases and suppliers.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of experience in contracts management or accounting. Experience in creating and dealing with financial documents and know-how in purchasing procedures is desirable. Knowledge of accounting principles and terminology would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Have a level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma OR
- a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.
