Responsible for the overall implementation and direction of UNODC projects and initiatives in the areas of human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional work experience in technical assistance and programme management is required. Work experience in investigating conventional, organized, and technology-based crimes is required. Work experience in the delivery of capacity-building, training and advisory services training and providing advice and assistance to national and regional criminal justice and law enforcement organizations is required. Work experience within the United Nations or similar international organization dealing with law enforcement related operations is desirable. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in criminology, law, criminal law, human rights, international criminal law, cyber law, security studies, information technology, forensic science or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in a similar field in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
