Overview

To provide support to programme activities in the framework of the implementation of the project Strengthening the local food system to improve food security and nutrition in the eastern provinces, Cuba.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute towards the implementation of the project.
  • Provide project management support.
  • Contribute to data gathering and monitoring systems.
  • Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reporting on activities.
  • Liaise with different Korean and national counterparts.
  • Contribute to systematization of the required processes and results.
  • Support the identification, development and management of potential partnerships.
  • Support the identification of actors in the Korean business sector.
  • Support the identification, development and management of potential proposals for new initiatives.
  • Support the capacity building of WFP staff and national partners.
  • Support visibility actions.
Required Experience
  • Has deepened technical knowledge through exposure to technical teams.
  • Has experience implementing programmes funded by KOICA.
  • Has provided input into policy discussions and decisions.
Qualifications

Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
