Overview
The Support Services Senior Officer will oversee and manage all support services within the UNOPS Tashkent office, ensuring effective and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HR, Finance, Office Procurement, Logistics, Administration, Security, and ICT services.
- Oversee administrative office procurement needs and contract administration.
- Manage a vehicle pool and implement a vehicle management system.
- Oversee the Support Services finance unit and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee the Support Services HR team and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Manage the timely and efficient delivery of all administrative services.
- Maintain a secure and reliable ICT infrastructure environment.
- Manage the acquisition, maintenance, and protection of project and administrative facilities/assets.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives.
Required Experience
- Relevant experience in support services management, including HR, finance, procurement, logistics, administration, and ICT or related areas.
- Experience in supervising and managing teams.
- Desired: Experience working in an international organization or the UN system.
- Desired: Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software applications.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Human Resources or related fields with 4 years of relevant experience.
- OR Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields with 2 years of relevant experience.
