Overview
Serve as a focal person and liaison between cleaners and supervisors, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of office premises and providing cleaning and logistical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft schedules of cleaner/logisticians and monitor its observation.
- Ensure accuracy and cleanness of the Office building, its property and other office auxiliary premises.
- Supervise Cleaners verifying the quality of performed functions.
- Provide cleaning and logistical support including daily cleaning tasks, toilet cleaning, kitchen maintenance, and flower care.
- Remove dust, spider web and dirt from walls.
- Sort paper for reuse.
- Perform small procurement related to cleaning.
- Maintain records on use of detergents and prepare requests for supplies.
- Assist during programme/project meetings by preparing tea/coffee for guests.
- Perform other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a cleaner/logistician in national and/or international organizations is required.
- Experience in providing support services for meetings or events organized in the office.
- Experience using computers demonstrating basic skills (familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office).
- Experience working in UN system or international organization.
- Experience in logistics support and handling of supplies.
Qualifications
• Secondary education is required.
