Overview

Provides strategic and operational leadership of UNICEF’s Standby Partnership modality, ensuring that standby arrangements remain responsive, scalable, and aligned with evolving context and humanitarian needs. Supports the Chief of Section in engagement with Standby Partners, other agencies and UNICEF offices.

Required Experience

At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in personnel administration or programme/operation support functions or coordination roles. Experience in partnerships development. Experience working in development or humanitarian contexts. Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing operational or programme data and preparing reports, and situation updates.

Qualifications

Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Social Science, human resources, humanitarian operations, international relations, social sciences, or related fields.

Proficiency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
