Overview
The Supply and Logistics Specialist leads and oversees the country office’s supply chain operations, providing strategic guidance and ensuring effective planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, in-country transport, distribution, and end-user monitoring of supplies, services, and construction works. The role strengthens emergency preparedness and response, and collaborates with programme sections to deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality supply solutions, while also providing technical and advisory support to government counterparts and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the country office’s supply chain operations.
- Provide strategic guidance and ensure effective planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, in-country transport, distribution, and end-user monitoring of supplies, services, and construction works.
- Strengthen emergency preparedness and response.
- Collaborate closely with programme sections to deliver timely, efficient, and high-quality supply solutions.
- Provide technical and advisory support to government counterparts and partners to enhance national supply chain systems.

Required Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Supply Management, Contracting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Administration and any other related fields.
- Experience in health supply management, country level experience and emergency response experience.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract Law, Commercial Law, International Development, Health, Social Science and any other related fields.
