Overview
The Administration Associate provides comprehensive administrative and logistics support to multiple projects, ensuring efficient and client-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative services, including compliance with UNOPS rules, monitoring team performance, implementing control mechanisms, overseeing inventory, and reviewing travel requests.
- Compile data and research information to support financial planning and administrative budgets.
- Oversee logistics systems, coordinate shipments, customs clearance, travel, event management, and office supplies.
- Coordinate supply and asset management services, including physical verification and inventory reporting.
- Oversee protocol services, liaise with local authorities, and compile information for cost-recovery billing.
- Supervise transportation services, ensuring client service, maintenance, insurance, and accident reporting.
- Support training and learning sessions on administrative and logistics topics.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and conduct research on administration-related topics.
Required Experience
- 6 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics, or operations with a secondary school education.
- 2 years of relevant experience in administration, logistics, or operations with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in the use of collaboration and productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, G-Suite, etc) and web-based management systems.
- Desired: Experience in multicultural environments or UN system organizations in a developing country.
- Desired: Experience in development or humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
- Secondary school (or equivalent) OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
- Desired: A globally or nationally recognized professional certificate in Administration.
