Overview
Assist in the preparation and revision of performance monitoring narratives and logical frameworks, and support the formulation of monitoring, review, and evaluation plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and/or revision of performance monitoring narratives and logical frameworks.
- Support the formulation of CSP Monitoring, Review and Evaluation (MRE) Plan and draft M&E Budget.
- Develop a monitoring toolkit (methodologies, tools, analysis plan, implementation plan).
- Coordinate with Cooperating Partners, Line Ministries, and WFP Activity Managers for data collection, compilation, validation, and entry into COMET.
- Ensure monitoring data is consolidated for review and evaluation purposes.
- Liaise with relevant units to collect, verify, and compile monitoring data on various activities.
- Update and enter data into COMET in line with the approved logframe.
- Maintain a programme-wise issues tracking sheet.
- Assist in the identification of relevant indicators, set baselines, and targets.
- Assist in the formulation of monthly monitoring plans.
- Coordinate capacity building M&E workshops and meetings.
- Review monthly monitoring results and develop recommendations for programme improvement.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional work experiences including monitoring and databases.
- Has experience in project monitoring, M&E system set up and data management.
- Has basic knowledge in use of mobile technology for project monitoring and associated softwares i.e. ODK, KOBO.
Qualifications
University degree in social sciences, statistics, development economics, data management, monitoring and evaluation or other related fields, or University diploma with additional years of relevant work experience and/or training/courses.
