Overview
Lead the Workplace Management and Hospitality Division's program, covering service excellence in facilities operations and maintenance, project management, space planning, and hospitality services. Manage budget and resources to promote operational goals and provide direction on complex operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of the Division's annual and long-term strategic and operational work programs.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including planning, compliance, quality control, budgeting, HR management, and staff development.
- Provide strategic leadership on policy and operational matters.
- Implement and enforce governance frameworks for workplans, budgets, projects, contracts, and sustainability/wellness programs.
- Direct the delivery of hard facilities services.
- Manage soft facilities services.
- Lead capital expenditure (CAPEX) and lifecycle projects for ADB Headquarters.
- Oversee workplace and space management.
- Strengthen hospitality services.
- Lead staff through clear direction, performance monitoring, coaching, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Required Experience
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in facilities operations, workplace management, engineering services, or corporate setting at progressively senior levels.
- International experience working in several countries.
- Experience with hard and soft facilities services, engineering operations, building systems [Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), safety systems, utilities], preventive maintenance, and quality assurance and quality control.
- Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale operations and maintenance functions, capital renewal projects, and enterprise-wide workplace transformation programs.
- Experience overseeing major capital and construction projects and using analytical and tactical skills to enhance procedures and use budget and resources across multiple workstreams.
- Experience applying workplace standards, space planning principles, customer-experience practices, and sustainability-focused building operations.
- Demonstrated capability to engage stakeholders at all levels and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture across diverse, multicultural teams.
- Experience developing high-performing teams, including cross-functional groups and external service providers.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree or equivalent in business management, engineering, architecture, facilities management or related field; or University degree in a relevant field such as business management, or engineering and at least 10 years of specialized experience relevant to the position can be considered.
