Overview

The intern will support the Compensation Team in implementing its workplan through analytical, operational, and process-improvement activities, gaining practical experience in compensation management.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Data analysis (ie: salary surveys, benchmarking)
  • - Policy reviews and allowances tracking
  • - Development of reporting tools, process improvement (SOPs, templates)
  • - Overall support to the compensation team
  • - Structured datasets, analytical outputs (tables, dashboards), draft SOPs and templates, and contributions to tool development and process optimization, including AI-related initiatives.
Qualifications
  • - Current student or recent graduate (less than a year) in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • - At ease with numbers and data, very good level in Excel (data structuring, formulas)
  • - Ability to organize and structure information in a clear and logical manner
  • - Attention to detail, organized, structured, analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • - Interest in compensation, HR analytics, process improvement, digitalization, AI tools.

Arabic is an advantage
Contract Duration
6 weeks to 11 months
Work Modality
Work may be on-site or remote. In case of remote work, working hours shall be aligned with Headquarters working hours
Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
