Overview
The consultant will monitor and evaluate project activities, assess progress towards goals and objectives, and measure the project’s sustainability, effectiveness, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an updated results framework for Outputs 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.
- Roll out digital data collection templates and project monitoring tools.
- Submit biannual training reports.
- Submit quarterly performance summaries and data analysis.
- Submit Monthly Activity Reports.
- Log all project training data onto the ITC Event Platform.
- Build and launch the centralized beneficiary tracking database.
- Complete site monitoring visits and submit data verification audits.
- Conduct a second monitoring mission and document human-impact success stories.
- Deliver performance analysis focused on social MSME competitiveness.
- Deliver the consolidated 2026 annual data analysis report.
- Submit the ultimate contract closure report summarizing all deliverables, findings, recommendations, and lessons learned.
- Review the project’s results framework and performance indicators.
- Develop and regularly update a comprehensive M&E plan.
- Coordinate and prepare donor and internal reports.
- Refine data collection tools and M&E templates.
- Train project staff and implementing partners on M&E tools, data collection, and reporting practices.
- Provide technical support to project teams in collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strengthen implementing partners’ capacity in data aggregation, analysis, and reporting.
- Compile monthly activity reports with corresponding means of verification.
- Analyse progress against logical framework indicators.
- Maintain and manage the project’s M&E database and web-based tools.
- Prepare and present quarterly data analyses to the project management team and the Project Steering Committee.
- Identify lessons learned and good practices and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate and ensure the timely upload and management of all project-related trainings, workshops, and events on the ITC event platform.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), economic development, stakeholder engagement, and development programming.
- Demonstrated experience working with government agencies, development partners, NGOs, and international organizations, particularly in projects focused on vulnerable populations, refugee-related issues, livelihoods, human rights, and gender equality.
- Experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, data collection and analysis, reporting, and supporting evidence-based programme implementation and decision-making.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in International Development, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
