Overview

Provides administrative support to the Air Transport Bureau (ATB) and supports human resources, financial, and procurement activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manages urgent emails, drafts correspondence, and tracks files.
  • Monitors staff contractual information and processes timesheets.
  • Runs budget reports and processes financial transactions.
  • Supports procurement planning and raises Purchase Requisitions.
  • Maintains the ATC website and coordinates report submissions.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in administrative work.
  • Experience in preparing correspondence, reviewing working papers, reports and presentations, as well as proofreading and editing.
  • Experience in using integrated automated systems for the management of human and financial resources.
  • Extensive experience in MS Office applications.
  • Desirable: Experience working in international organizations or the United Nations system.
Qualifications
  • Essential: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Desirable: A Diploma of College Studies (DEC).
  • Additional training or certification in computer applications, business administration, or a related field.

Languages Required
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English.
Languages Preferred
• A working knowledge of any other language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish).
Contract Duration
• initial period of three (3) years (first year is probationary for an external candidate)
