Overview

The Digital Specialist will manage the Learning Management System (LMS) platform, coordinate digital curriculum delivery, and support digital capacity building across 11 countries to strengthen healthy digital habits and online safety among youth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead LMS setup, configuration, and management, ensuring system stability, security, and user access.
  • Adapt and digitize curriculum into interactive LMS content, coordinating localization and designing learning pathways.
  • Ensure platform accessibility for users with disabilities and optimize for mobile devices and low-bandwidth contexts.
  • Conduct training and capacity building for users on LMS administration and content management.
  • Monitor user engagement, analyze behavior patterns, and implement strategies to enhance participation and retention.
  • Integrate pre- and post-test protocols into LMS modules for automated data collection and generate reports on platform usage and learning progress.
  • Liaise with project teams, vendors, and partners on LMS implementation and technical support.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and pilot innovative features for continuous improvement.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms for education or capacity building programs.
  • Experience with digital curriculum development, instructional design, and creating engaging online learning content.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing inclusive digital platforms.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Experience conducting training and capacity building on digital platforms for non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity best practices for educational technology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience coordinating with IT vendors or service providers on platform management and technical support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones in a multi-country team environment.
  • Desirable: Experience with youth digital literacy, online safety, or wellbeing education programs.
  • Desirable: Skills in multimedia content creation (video production, graphic design, animation).
  • Desirable: Knowledge of gamification and engagement strategies for online learning platforms.
  • Desirable: Experience with learning analytics and data visualization for educational technology.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with mobile learning (m-learning) and mobile app development.
  • Desirable: Experience with low-bandwidth optimization and offline learning solutions for developing country contexts.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of emerging technologies in education (AI, chatbots, adaptive learning, VR/AR).
  • Desirable: Understanding of gender-transformative and disability-inclusive digital platform design.
  • Desirable: Experience managing digital learning platforms across multiple countries and languages.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with ASEAN regional context and digital infrastructure variations across member states.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, education technology, instructional design, or related fields.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Desirable: Master's degree in education technology, instructional design, digital learning, or related fields.

Languages Required
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory

• Multilingual interfaces supporting languages across 11 countries (Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Tagalog, Khmer, Lao, Burmese, English, Malay)
Contract Duration
Fixed-Term Employment Contract (PKWT) for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
