Overview
The role involves modernizing supply chains through project engagements, focusing on improving service levels, reducing costs, and enabling smarter planning and execution via process and technical leadership in business process re-engineering, automation, systems enhancement, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis for supply chain management functions including demand and supply planning, forecasting, pipeline visibility, inventory and warehouse management and procurement and order management.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations and consensus-building across organizations, country focal points, government counterparts and implementing partners.
- Implement supply chain information management systems for automation and improvement of supply chain management.
- Perform and support requirements gathering, configuration, and enhancement of supply chain information systems.
- Work with cross functional business teams and IT teams to ensure system interoperability and compliance with IT standards.
- Develop process maps, as-is and to-be documentations, technical requirements and reports to improve supply chain performance, gaps, and risks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Lead user training, knowledge transfer, SOP development, and documentation.
- Support strengthening of local institutional capacity for planning and data stewardship.
- Promote continuous improvement and end-user adoption of new digital solutions.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, or information systems management, or change management and/or business analysis is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing one or more of different components of either deployment or an implementation of a large-scale ERP project(s).
- Experience with ERP, APS tools (e.g., SAP, IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder), and visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in: Supply chain management or ERP implementations in any one of the humanitarian, non-for-profit, public health, development, government, International organization, or private sector settings.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in one of the following areas: Engineering, Sciences, Data/Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Arts, Management International/Political studies, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience is required OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in one of the following areas: Engineering, Sciences, Data/Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Arts, Management International/Political studies, or related field with 7 years of relevant experience.
