The Associate Information Systems Officer will support the Performance Monitoring System by participating in user requirements preparation, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance. The role involves analyzing system modules, developing enhancements, and providing operational support.
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of computer information systems or related area is required. Experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript), and relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server is required. Experience with software development tools and application lifecycle management platforms, such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, or similar technologies, is desirable. Experience with enterprise application development frameworks, including Telerik controls or comparable technologies, is desirable. Experience in the implementation of results-based management systems in organizations is desirable. One year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A first-level university degree and no experience will be accepted for candidates who have passed the Young Professionals Programme Examination (YPP), the United Nations National Competitive Recruitment Examination (NCRE) or the General Service to Professional (G to P). Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage.
