Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience in private partnerships and philanthropy, supporting the cultivation and stewardship of mid-level and major donors.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with event logistics, including vendor management, venue setup, scheduling, invites, catering, and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate personalized touchpoints for mid-value donors.
  • Project manage the development of mid-value donor communication materials, including proposals, cover letters, and thank you letters.
  • Provide proof-reading and fact-checking support.
  • Conduct research, gather content and support the drafting, editing, and proofreading of written materials.
  • Use prospect research tools to create prospect briefings on mid-level and major donors.
  • Support with due diligence screening reports.
  • Work in donor databases to manage donor records and ensure gifts are reflected properly.
  • Assist with researching and analyzing data for fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Pull information from various sources to report on marketing and communication material effectiveness.
  • Help with general administrative work and other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
  • University degree or college degree in progress (completed at least 2 years of Study) or completed within the last 24 months required.
  • Bachelor's, High school diploma (Required)

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• French language skills are a strong asset.

Remuneration
Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to support costs related to food and local transportation. The maximum allowance for a full-time internship is $2168.88 a month.
