Overview

The role is for a Referent*in (m/f/d) Protection & Legal Advice (maternity cover) in Bavaria, Germany, to conduct peer-to-peer awareness activities on human trafficking.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design low-threshold peer-to-peer awareness activities on human trafficking based on personal experience.
  • Conduct workshops with residents in refugee shelters on human trafficking.
  • Prepare digital and analog culturally sensitive information materials.
  • Develop content for a multiplier training, including training materials.
  • Conduct multiplier trainings with survivors of human trafficking.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and the national implementation team on the further development of materials and measures.
Required Experience
  • Personal experience as a victim of human trafficking in Europe (as defined by the Palermo Protocol).
  • Experience in adult education or participation in awareness campaigns and knowledge transfer is ideal.
  • Experience in protection (e.g., protection from human trafficking or violence; support for refugees or vulnerable persons) or other relevant experience (e.g., conducting workshops).
Qualifications

• University degree or experience in the field of protection.

Languages Required
• German or English language skills at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. • A2-B1 language level for the other language (German or English).
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of other languages (e.g., Arabic, French, Bengali, Romani) is an advantage.

Remuneration
• An entry salary of 32,030 Euros gross/year for 30 hours/week. • Travel expenses will be covered.
