Overview
The incumbent safeguards the staff, visitors, and property of the Mission by ensuring security and protection of persons and property at the entry point and by patrolling and guarding the office premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Screens all persons entering the OSCE premises and admits visitors upon checking identification and issuing badges.
- Maintains the Mission Members and Visitor Log on entries and exits.
- Prevents entry of unknown persons.
- Opens and closes the OSCE Premises, checks night video recordings, and produces written reports.
- Closes premises, checks machines, air conditioning, lights, and windows.
- Monitors video surveillance systems and reports suspicious situations.
- Controls admissions and movements of OSCE property.
- Conducts regular patrolling of facilities and offices.
- Responds to emergencies and notifies relevant personnel.
- Performs receptionist switchboard duties during non-business hours.
- Acts as a back-up driver if needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Minimum one year experience in security functions in a big private enterprise, bank, national or international organization.
Qualifications
Secondary Education; Driving licence and ability to drive 4 wheels drive vehicles with manual and automatic gear boxes; Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.
