Overview
Coordinate effective project planning and implementation, establish partnerships, monitor progress, and facilitate knowledge sharing within the assigned portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project planning processes and ensure work plans and budgets are prepared.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities and overall implementation, including planning and monitoring.
- Facilitate establishment of interactive and inclusive platforms for project implementation.
- Ensure operational management of assigned portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with implementing and development partners.
- Monitor implementation and progress in achieving goals and targets.
- Prepare corporate, donor, and government reports.
- Organize training, workshops, and capacity building activities.
- Identify, synthesize, and document best practices and lessons learned.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field is required, or;
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above fields in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.
