Overview
Consultancy to support adolescent and youth initiatives in Timor-Leste, focusing on mental health, climate change adaptation, social innovation, and capacity building for youth organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ADAP and youth initiatives including mental health awareness, referral systems, Climate Change Adaptation Module development and integration into the Youth Parliament Programme.
- Support Hackathons for social impact innovation, UPSHIFT initiative on green skills and livelihoods, and training on the rights of persons with disabilities.
- Target 13 youth associations to enhance institutional capacity and leadership.
- Provide strategic leadership for ADAP and Youth Programming, coordinating across UNICEF sections.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in adolescent and youth development, programme coordination, or related areas.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing youth-focused programmes, including capacity-building, social innovation initiatives, or community-based interventions.
- Demonstrated experience working with UN, government institutions, NGOs, and youth-led organizations, in Timor-Leste or similar contexts.
- Experience in programme monitoring, reporting, and documentation, including preparation of donor reports.
Qualifications
• Master`s university degree in Community Development, Rural Development, Youth Development
