Overview
The Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the project Training, Assistance and Territorial Support for the Efficiency of Assisted Voluntary Returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day implementation and follow-up of project activities related to AVRR counselling services.
- Assist the Project Manager in organizing meetings and trainings sessions for local stakeholders.
- Support the collection, verification and organization of data and information related to counselling activities.
- Assist in the preparation of narrative and statistical reports, briefing notes, presentations and other project documentation.
- Support the dissemination and operational use of project tools, guidance materials and AVRR training resources.
- Contribute to verifying compliance with IOM procedures/guidelines, project requirements and reporting obligations.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience
- University degree in International Relations, Law, Social, Political or Economic Sciences, Social Work, Migration or Development Studies, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or High School diploma, with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Working experience in the migration sectors, with a particular focus on vulnerable migrants.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting coordination with institutional stakeholders, local authorities and territorial service providers, particularly in the field of migration, is highly desirable.
- Previous working experience in AVRR counselling is considered an asset.
Qualifications
- University degree in International Relations, Law, Social, Political or Economic Sciences, Social Work, Migration or Development Studies, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- High School diploma.
