Overview
Provide support for the FTL Programme Syria AI4Climate Implementation DS4SDGs training, including updating course materials and delivering courses.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update existing DS4SDGs course materials, exercises, and assignments.
- Deliver DS4SDGs courses in the absence of FTL Trainers.
- Demonstrate practical skills through live coding sessions.
- Provide pre-recorded demos for sessions if needed.
- Host office hours to address student questions and assist with assignments.
Required Experience
- Senior-year undergraduate student or higher, preferably pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in programming.
- Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or instructional experience is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing demonstrated with a project portfolio, work experience or certified training materials.
- Strong software development and problem-solving skills.
