Overview
The Roving Senior International HR Business Partner (HRBP) strengthens Oxfam GB’s global people support by delivering strategic and operational HR partnership to country programmes. This role ensures consistent application of HR standards, policies, and practices across diverse operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of complex, multi-country HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with a network of International HRBPs to drive organisational effectiveness.
- Support country leadership teams.
- Provide expert, solutions-focused HR advice to senior managers and in-country HR staff.
- Ensure alignment with Oxfam’s strategy, safeguarding commitments, and local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work in partnership with HR centres of expertise.
- Travel regularly to provide hands-on support, build capability, and strengthen HR systems and practices in country offices.
Required Experience
- Significant HR Business Partnership (HRBP) experience gained within a large international organisation and with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in contributing to medium term strategic and operational business planning and delivering outcomes aligned to business strategy
- Demonstrable experience of managing and delivering complex change management projects
- Demonstrable experience delivering transition/country closure projects
- Experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces
Qualifications
MCIPD or equivalent HR qualification/or commensurate level of demonstrable international HR experience
