Overview
The Business Support Assistant (HR) will support the HR office in responding to HR queries, compiling HR data, and providing administrative support for various HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to HR standard queries and provide timely and accurate guidance.
- Extract and compile HR data on staff recruitment and selection, contractual conditions, entitlements, performance and training requirements.
- Provide administrative support in various HR activities including onboarding of new staff members.
- Maintain confidential personnel records, HR databases and archives.
- Use HR management systems for entering and updating HR data and monitoring deadlines.
- Support staff deployment and related administrative actions.
- Contribute to improvement of business procedures and processes.
- Take responsibility for data integrity.
Required Experience
Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in a related functional area is desirable.
