Overview

The Programme Officer will provide administrative support to Movement Operations projects, focusing on complementary pathways and protection mainstreaming. The role involves assisting with project objectives, reporting, monitoring, evaluation, implementation, and communications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to RMM projects and assist in achieving their objectives.
  • Support project review and endorsement processes for Country Offices outside of the EEA.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff on RMM strategy, policies, and project development.
  • Liaise internally with IOM divisions for organizing meetings and collecting inputs.
  • Provide technical support in capacity building and training on complementary pathways and protection mainstreaming.
  • Coordinate with relevant units on policy updates related to vulnerable migrants.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to communications and public information.
  • Develop infographics representing programme achievements.
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with country offices, UNHCR, stakeholders, and donors.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Required Experience
  • Previous experience in providing administrative and logistical support, project development and/or working for an organization which provides humanitarian assistance.
  • Experience in research, writing, outreach, data collection and analysis as well as communications.
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural setting.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Political or Social Science, International Relations, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.

Languages Required
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
Contract Duration
12 months with possibility of extension
