Overview
The WASH Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process, focusing on development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of country programme outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage and implement a variety of technical and administrative tasks related to WASH programming.
- Contribute to programme development and planning.
- Manage programmes, monitor progress, and deliver results.
- Provide technical and operational support for programme implementation.
- Engage in humanitarian WASH preparedness and response.
- Build networks and partnerships.
- Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.
Required Experience
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) programmes for developing countries, or any other related fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Public Health, Social Science, Behavioural change, communication, sanitary engineering or any other related field.
