Overview
Provide day-to-day operational, technical, and coordination support to UNICEF Guinea's Technology for Development portfolio, assisting in the deployment and sustainment of digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational, technical and coordination support to UNICEF Guinea's Technology for Development portfolio.
- Assist the Technology for Development Specialist in identifying, deploying and sustaining digital solutions.
- Play a hands-on role in user support, system configuration, field-level capacity building and documentation.
- Work closely with programme staff across Health, Nutrition, WASH, Education, Child Protection and Social Policy sections.
- Support coordination with government ICT counterparts.
- May provide guidance to ICT support staff or consultants in field offices.
- Operational T4D Support and ICT Service Management.
- Digital Solution Deployment and Field Support.
- Cybersecurity, Data Protection and System Compliance.
- Portfolio Coordination and Knowledge Management.
- Capacity Building and User Training.
- Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement Support.
- Digital Innovation and Emerging Technology Support.
Required Experience
A minimum of 6 years of practical work experience in information technology is required, including direct experience with ICT systems administration, mobile data collection tools and user support in a development or humanitarian context. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may replace three years of related work experience. A master’s degree may replace an additional two years. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
Completion of Secondary education is required. A professional diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Systems, Telecommunications or a related technical field is highly desirable.
