Overview
The incumbent is responsible for translating strategy into governed delivery by driving prioritisation, integrated planning, portfolio oversight, and decision preparation for Workspace Management and Business Continuity (WMBC). They will serve as acting Head of WMBC in the Head’s absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an integrated programmatic overview of WMBC’s portfolio and prioritised daily operation.
- Establish and enforce governance and controls.
- Manage resources across projects and operations.
- Plan and execute surge capacity for critical projects and essential daily operations.
- Provide briefs on planning, prioritisation and scenario analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders in enabling services.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in management roles.
- Experience in delivery of multi-year programmes and portfolios in complex operational environments in an engineering or facilities management related programme of work.
- Experience with programme and project management, including relevant certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, MSP).
Qualifications
A university degree in Architecture, Engineering (civil/structural/mechanical/electrical) or a closely related discipline involving facilities, workspace or infrastructure delivery.
