Overview
The role supports the Global Foundations & Institutional Donors (GFID) team in driving global resource mobilization efforts, coordinating across workstreams, and managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Global Foundations team in identifying relevant foundations, researching their focus areas, geographic priorities, and grant opportunities.
- Assist the development and coordination of proposals and concept note submissions.
- Provide logistical support and prepare documentation for high-level meetings.
- Support the preparation of donor reporting.
- Contribute to regular communication with the Dutch Government and other selected donors.
- Assist HQ hubs and country offices with information and donor-specific guidance.
- Support DRC's participation in donor-related policy discussions.
- Contribute to DRC's strategic fundraising development.
- Support the maintenance and regular updating of GFID workplans.
- Lead the due diligence process for new donors.
- Lead and provide general support to business development efforts.
Required Experience
Two to three years’ experience within resource mobilization and/or the displacement sector.
Qualifications
Completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., international relations, humanitarian affairs, development studies, or similar).
