Overview

To offer technical support to WHO Country Office Malaysia for the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of activities under the Pandemic Fund project. The role ensures effective execution, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and technical support for grant fund implementation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities.
  • Liaise closely with government counterparts and technical partners.
  • Design detailed action plans and facilitate monitoring of project progress.
  • Collect and organize project data, preparing reports and presentations.
  • Facilitate multisectoral coordination, communication, and operational planning.
  • Develop communication/visibility products and coordinate events.
  • Develop briefing notes and talking points for Senior Management.
  • Submit monthly consultancy reports, notes from calls/meetings, and final technical reports.
Required Experience

At least two (2) years of relevant experience in health project coordination and management. Desirable experience includes working with the Government Sector and/or another UN/International Organization, and experience with multi-stakeholder coordination in development cooperation.

Qualifications

Essential: First university degree (bachelor’s degree) in medicine/health/public health. Desirable: Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in health/public health or a related area.

Work Modality
The consultant will work remotely with regular physical visits to the WHO Country Office in Malaysia when necessary.
Remuneration
Daily rate of salary between MYR 635.00 to MYR 814.00 for 11 months with the possibility to renew the contract on similar terms.
