Overview

The Associate Administrative Officer role supports the unit's human resources and administrative management, including staff management, budget monitoring, and procurement activities. The position also involves managing and overseeing a team of administrative and general services assistants.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates human resources and administrative management actions, including staff management, personnel records, and processing requests for daily paid staff.
  • Manages office operational and project budgets, monitors expenditure, and handles cash payments.
  • Manages procurement activities, maintains inventory records, and serves as custodian for IT equipment and furniture.
  • Compiles and analyzes statistical data, initiates administrative correspondence, and prepares operational reports.
  • Manages and oversees a team of administrative and general services assistants.
  • Establishes guarding schedules and oversees their implementation for premises security.
Required Experience

At least three years of experience in administrative work, human resources and / or office management.

Qualifications

A first university degree from an accredited educational institution in business administration, finance, procurement or related field.

Remuneration
Monthly basic salary JD 843.50 fils, the salary may be subject to a reduced work schedule. Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15.4% of basic salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and dependency allowance (if applicable). Additional Benefits: -2 days of sick leave for each completed month of service. -14 weeks of maternity leave. -2 weeks of paternity leave
