Overview
The consultant will assist with Immigration & Border Governance (IBG) activities, focusing on capacity building, project documentation, administrative support, and event organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of capacity building and technical assistance activities, including training preparation and delivery.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of project documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support for procurement, contracting, travel arrangements, consultants, service providers, and other project-related processes.
- Liaise with other IOM staff members on administration, financial, logistics and operational matters.
- Support the organization and implementation of meetings, workshops, training sessions, study visits, and high-level events.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection and maintenance of activity records.
- Contribute to the development and standardization of templates related to the IBG Programme.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned inclusive of duty travels.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant professional experience with a United Nations agency, international organization, or non-governmental organization (NGO), preferably in migration, humanitarian assistance, human rights, or a related area.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law, Human Rights, International Relations, or another related field.
