Overview

The incumbent safeguards staff, visitors, and property of the OSCE Mission by acting as a Security Guard at the entry point, patrolling premises, and responding to emergencies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Screens all persons entering OSCE premises and issues badges.
  • Maintains the Mission Members and Visitor Log.
  • Prevents entry of unknown persons.
  • Opens and closes OSCE premises, checking security and turning off equipment.
  • Monitors video surveillance systems and reports incidents.
  • Controls admission and movement of OSCE property.
  • Conducts regular patrolling of facilities and offices.
  • Responds to emergencies affecting safety and security.
  • Performs receptionist switchboard duties during non-business hours.
  • Acts as a back-up driver if needed.
Required Experience

Minimum one year experience in security functions in a big private enterprise, bank, national or international organization.

Qualifications

Secondary Education; Driving licence and ability to drive 4 wheels drive vehicles with manual and automatic gear boxes; Computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.

Remuneration
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deduction is EUR 647.58. OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Moldova. Social benefits include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. In exceptional cases, an initial appointment at up to Step 3 may be considered.
